The lineage of Humanity
Humanity is the population model behind /hiasynth. Every version is a build: a bigger, deeper, better one than the last.
One term you will meet throughout: the micro-zone. It is Hiasynth's own spatial unit, a piece of a real neighbourhood that is never larger than one square kilometre. Every person and household in the population lives in one.

How we version
The number before the dot changes when the population changes shape: a new layer, a finer grain, a new way the layers join. That is the moment your queries may need a second look. The number after the dot changes when the population grows inside the same shape: more countries, more attributes, sharper checks. Anything you wrote against the previous minor keeps working. A third number, when you see one, is just bug fixes: same shape, same coverage, no change to what you can ask.
And the lighthouse?
That is just the name. Every release gets one, in the order the lights come on.
A release is only called shipped once every country in it reproduces the official statistics it claims to. Coverage is not a promise we make in advance. It is a list of the countries that have already passed.
