Utklippan filled in the corners of the map. Occupation and industry arrived for the Western Balkans, attitudes and values gained country-specific coverage in places the latest pan-European surveys had not reached, and the smallest territories, from Ceuta to Malta, were brought up to the same standard as the large regions.
Utklippan is Sweden's southeasternmost point, two bare skerries far out in the Baltic off Karlskrona. Nothing lies beyond it but open sea. Seals haul out on the rocks and migrating birds use it as their last stop.
