Humanity ·the model behind Hiasynth
Humanity is the population model behind /hiasynth. Every version is a build: a bigger, deeper, better one than the last.
One term you will meet throughout: the micro-zone. It is Hiasynth's own spatial unit, a piece of a real neighbourhood that is never larger than one square kilometre. Every person and household in the population lives in one.
A life behind every record. Birthdays, families as they are, a health layer, and the chance of what happens to each person next.
The first public release. 700+ attributes per persona across person, household and place, reachable from any AI client.
Read the release notesCounting people first. Exact head counts down to the micro-zone, second homes across Europe, spending that follows the person, and the household balance sheet.
Counts you can check. People, households and dwellings match the official figures, and every attribute traces to its source.
Filling in the map. Every region and territory, large or small, brought to the same standard.
Across Europe. The first culture, wealth and emissions layers, and the UK as four nations.
The first step outside Sweden, and the shape of people, households, spend and emissions that every release since has kept.
All of Sweden, one person at a time. The build that showed a one-to-one population could be made and asked questions.
The number before the dot changes when the population changes shape: a new layer, a finer grain, a new way the layers join. That is the moment your queries may need a second look. The number after the dot changes when the population grows inside the same shape: more countries, more attributes, sharper checks. Anything you wrote against the previous minor keeps working. A third number, when you see one, is just bug fixes: same shape, same coverage, no change to what you can ask.
That is just the name. Every release gets one, in the order the lights come on.
A release is only called shipped once every country in it reproduces the official statistics it claims to. Coverage is not a promise we make in advance. It is a list of the countries that have already passed.
