Hiasynth makes 522 million European consumer profiles accessible to any AI
Stockholm startup launches Humanity v2.1, a synthetic population model spanning 43 countries, making European consumer intelligence accessible through any AI platform supporting MCP
Today Hiasynth opens its synthetic model of Europe's population to the public. Humanity v2.1 holds 522 million consumer profiles across 43 countries, the households they live in and the neighbourhoods around them. From today, any company can connect it to the AI it already uses and ask questions about any consumer market in Europe.
"We know how many of them there are, where they live, and what they can afford. That picture used to be scattered across dozens of national statistics offices and research budgets. Now it's one model, and any AI can ask it,"
Every persona carries more than 700 attributes across three connected layers: the person, their household and the micro-zone they live in. Who they are and what they believe sits alongside income, housing costs, debt and a line-by-line household budget, and alongside the distance to the nearest station, grocery shop or fast charger. Because the layers are joined, a question such as "renters with children within walking distance of a tram who spend above their neighbourhood on restaurants" is a single query.
Access is through MCP (Model Context Protocol), the open standard that lets AI assistants such as Claude and ChatGPT query external tools and data directly. Hiasynth supplies the population, and customers reason over it with whichever AI they already trust. Answers come back as queries are made, at any resolution: a single persona in a Lyon suburb, or a spending pattern across the entire continent.
"Europe's population is foundational data, and it should be available to every company and every AI that needs it. Our job is to make that foundation as accurate as possible and to keep it open to whatever people build on top,"
Each region is checked against national statistics before release, and every attribute carries its source. Where a country has no measured data, the attribute is either modelled or left empty, and marked as such.
Humanity v2.1 is the first public release. Hiasynth will keep updating the model as it finds ways to improve it, and every customer gets the latest version through the same connection.
The launch follows an angel round led by Further Than Capital earlier this month. Hiasynth will be at Bits & Pretzels in Munich on 28 September.
